November 2011:
Two of our number, both having recently come to faith in Christ, were baptised as believers by total immersion.
October 2011:
Phil & Carol Wilthew from The Kings Arms, Bedford were with us over the weekend 22nd/ 23rd October with Carole speaking at a Womens' Breakfast in Ulgham on Saturday morning and Phil preaching on Sunday morning at Stakeford and speaking at a Men's Pizza evening in Morpeth in the evening
October 2011:

September 2011: Jack Mills joined us on staff on a part time basis to manage our Community Help Hub and relaunch our youth work Level X. Jack is 22, hails from Teesside (yes, a Middlesbrough F.C. supporter) and is engaged to be married to Lydia. Prior to joining us Jack studied politics at York University, led the student work at York City Church and gave a year to serving in the North Frontier Year Project.
June 2011:
Four members of our Help Hub team were invited to the Northumberland Carers and Volunteers Party at Alnwick Castle in the presence of Her Majesty the Queen. (Photo by Alan Rapley, one of our volunteers)
Our latest home Alpha, in Morpeth, came to an end with one person putting their faith in Christ.
April 2011:
One of our much loved church members, Susan Stanley, died after a two year battle with cancer.
March 2011:
We celebrated the first anniversary of our Community Help Hub in Bedlington.
February 2011:
Richard Allen was our guest preacher on 20th February. Richard leads New Wine Church Sherringham which hosts the exciting Yesu Project launched in 2002. (www.yesu-sheringham.co.uk) He also works closely with our good friends Maurice Nightingale and Grantley Watkins as part of a North Norfolk church planting team. Richard and his wife Jane arrived earlier in the week to visit our Community Help Hub and help us think ahead about our service in the local community. They also spent time with our leaders and the Hub team and visited our Kidz Klub in Shilbottle.
January 2011:
Our Seminar room at the Community Help Hub was the setting for CAP Money Management Seminars over three Saturdays, hosted by Simon Napper from Morpeth.
Our friends at Hexham Community Church, led by Neil Strike, wonderfully expressed their partneship with us by sending us a generous gift towards the work of our Community Help Hub. It's great to be on a mission together with others in the County.
