Looking at Christianity
Many people think they know what a Christian is, but have never really checked to make sure they’ve got it right. Perhaps you think going to Church regularly makes you a Christian, or that being born in a so-called Christian country is enough. Or that being a decent, honest person will suffice. There’s a bit more to it than that. Click on What Makes Me A Christian? to investigate further.
Another way of checking where you are in relation to Christianity is to ask: “What is my worldview?” A “worldview” is the sum total of your beliefs about the world and life in general. It is a set of beliefs that hang together; the big picture. You may not even be aware of having a worldview. But in fact all of us have a set of beliefs, even if subconscious, that dominate how we see life and the world around us. Click Check My Worldview to compare the Biblical Worldview with that of Secular humanism (the Naturalism worldview) and find out where you stand.
The very fact you are asking yourself these questions is important. It demonstrates a curiosity to find out more. The best way of doing this is to join one of our Alpha courses. For more information see Alpha at County Church.
