| When and where we meet
County Church Wansbeck meets at Stakeford & Bomarsund Welfare, East Gordon Terrace West, Stakeford, NE62 5UB. This is on the road from Bedlington Station and the Spine Road to Stakeford. We are also just up the road from Earth Balance so you can follow road signs to here and you'll find Stakeford Welfare a hundred yards or so further up the road towards Stakeford, on the opposite side of the road.
There is a limited amount of free parking behind the Welfare Centre, and also unrestricted parking on the street.
Tea and Coffee are available from 10.30 am with the meeting starting at 11.00 am and finishing around 12.30 pm.
You’ll find us informal and friendly. Most weeks we start with a time of worship which will include singing, praying, bible readings and other contributions. After this is a short time in which we update people on any important news or announcements we have to make. And finally we have a talk based on the Bible. You can see an example of the kind of issues we cover on our Inside The Bible pages.
Most weeks (but not during school holidays) we have separate fun filled activities for children in different age groups during the talk (see Children at County Church). Our young people’s grouphave their own activity during the talk every second week. (see Young People at County Church)
Once or twice each year we do something completely different on a Sunday Morning so please check our News & Events page to see if there is any change to our normal programme on the date you are thinking of visiting. Or phone us on one of the numbers on the contact us page.
